We feel highly honoured to Impart that the Idara Tameer-e-Nau, Sadiq Abad is a registered welfare organisation. We are thankful to Almighty Allah Who blessed us with courage and fortitude enough to meet manfully the challenging educational demands on modern scientific lines and to impart standard education to the youth of the nation whose talent was bound to go waste when, a few years back, they found no educational shelter in Sediq Abad and had, therefore, to travel long distances to seek knowledge leaving their parents encompassed in mental anxieties. The conditions for girl students, in particular, were all the more deplorable, when their parents found themselves shattered inside while sending them away even for the noblest cause of education. 

Sadiq Abad, being a small city, is feeding large areas, stretched out to Sindh and Baluchistan but, regrettably, there were no such arrangements, even in the public institutions over here, as to impart science education at graduation level. To further retain and ameliorate the local talent, we decided, from the session 1995-96, to take up this Herculean task upon our shoulders. 

The idara Tamir-e-Nau launched an absolutely sound education programme under the guidance of dynamic and unflinching personality of Muhammad Haneef Chaudhry (Late), the President of the idara. The four dynamic branches of this programme are: 

* Iqra Degree College for Boys (Science & Arts), established in 1992. 

* Iqra Degree College for Women (Science & Arts), established in 1992. 

* Iqra College of Education Sadikabad, established in 2005. 

* Iqra College of Commerce, Sadikabad, established in 2005. 

* Iqra Public School (Boys), Sadikabad, established in 1982. 

* Iqra Public School (Girls), Sadikabad, established in 1985. 

Mr. Muhammad Amin Bajwa carried on the legacy of the late Mr. Muhammad Hanif Chaudhary by launching master’s degree programmes, which have since been transformed into BS four-year semester-based programmes in eight disciplines with ADP in various subjects. 

We are on the go to make these institutions worthy havens for those who want to seek knowledge at the threshold of their homes. 

It is, by the grace of Allah and our selfless and untiring efforts, that lqra has achieved the status of a tradition, a noble and glorified one, because we believe in the dictum: actions speak louder than words. Hence we would ask our well-wishers to visit our campus and see for themselves the way we are pegging away, shaping the lives of our young generations to make them responsible citizens of our beloved motherland.
